MANILA – The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Sunday reported just 28 active cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), lower than the previous day’s 33.
The PNP also ended 2021 with 28 patients.
There were six new recoveries that raised the total to 48,655 out of 48,811 confirmed infections while the death toll has remained at 128 since February 11.
PNP active cases soared to as many as 4,015 on January 17 before starting to go down to 100 on February 19.
Meanwhile, the number of fully vaccinated PNP personnel is at 97.93 percent, or 220,173 out of 224,817.
There are 3,894 waiting for their second doses while 750 are still unvaccinated.
Among those with two doses or who received the single-shot jabs, 54.74 percent or 120,517 have availed of booster doses. (PNA)
