HIKING TRAILS IN THE PHILIPPINES
Mt. Batulao is one of the best hiking spots in the country. It is one of the popular hiking trails because of the spectacular view of the nature. The peak of the trail is a worth the sweat since some hikers claims the path is not easy.

is the first conservation project in the Philippines situated in the Southern Sierra Madre range in Baras, Rizal, 47 kilometres (28 mi) east of Manila. It centers on the geological formations of Masungi Rock, at an elevation of 640 metres (2,100 ft). It is characterized by limestone, steep slopes, and surrounded by montane rainforests. It also contains several caves including Yungib ni Ruben Cave (Ruben’s Cave). A popular attraction in the park is the Sapot ("Cobweb"), a metallic platform with wooden steps which allows visitors to walk on suspended netting above the karst and get a 360-degree view of the Sierra Madre and the Laguna de Bay. Tarak Ridge is composed of rocky terrain, steep cliffs, and rough rocks but is surrounded with dramatic landscape that continues to attract mountaineers to hike here. When it comes to difficulty, the trail is categorized to moderate to hard which is gives the mountaineers a challenging trail to finish. Upon reaching the peak, you can see Bataan and some parts of Corregidor islands as well as Manila Bay and Cavite.
Mt. Daraitan is seasoned with great forest trails, caves, and grasslands which is perfect for outdoor activities including hiking, cave exploration, and camping. Tinipak River, which is one of the country’s cleanest free-flowing rivers, is located in Mt. Daraitan which gives the campers and mountaineers more excitement to explore the mountain. When you reach the summit, you can see the magnificent view of the Sierra Madre Mountain range and the Province of Rizal.
